REPRESENTIN' is a blog of the Youth & Media group, part of the Temple Youth VOICES Summer Academy 2008. The participants of the program learn to critically analyze and evaluate media texts in the context of their daily lives. They also produce their own media that question and address representations of themselves and their communities that they encounter in mainstream culture.

Homosexual
Hello my name is Victoria. My issue is why do people think if your gay, you have to be UGLY? ..(^_^) I don't get it. Please help me with that issue.
I think it's like that because they might feel like since the male gender won't accept them for the way they look then their own gender would accept them so to me it would b mainly ugly ppl who would b gay rather then a pretty girl but it could just b some just tired of boys /girls so they want 2try something new

i feel that girls think that if you not the same as themm u differnt and boys feel if they cant talk to then they get made or watevr
