DO YOU FIT INTO A MOLD?

A stereotype is a shortcut to understanding about a person. It is an easily accessible mold. What stereotypes may other people have about you based on the demographic categories you fit into (race, gender, location)? How does that affect your daily life and your interactions with others?



STER-E-O-TYPE:
a process for making metal printing plates by taking a MOLD and then taking from this mold a cast in type metal.



a simplified and standardized conception or image invested with special meaning and held in commom by members of a group.
